The March for Science demonstrates our passion for science and sounds a call to support and safeguard the scientific community. Recent policy changes have caused heightened worry among scientists. The incredible and immediate outpouring of support has made clear that these concerns are also shared by the support of hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

Hayward Annual Clean Up Day
Join us for Hayward's annual litter clean up day during which volunteers help beautify the City. Not only is litter unpleasant to look at, it also has harmful impacts on the environment. It is dangerous to wildlife and when it ends up in creeks and streams, it pollutes our water sources and the ocean. Pick-up sticks, bags, gloves, and lunch afterward are provided to those to volunteer.
Saturday, May 13th, 2017
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
